Bank Worker Who Stole £127,000 to Fund Gambling Addiction Jailed

Julia Finney stole £127,000 while working at a Birmingham branch of Barclays from accounts to pay back a series of payday loans she had taken to fund her gambling addiction. Over three years she made 200 separate transactions using internal accounts that did not belong to customers. Transactions were for up to £5,000 a time.
