The Weekend Scene in Las Vegas: Jan 18/19

This past weekend in Las Vegas was jam packed with celebrity appearances, musical performances, and plenty of parties.

Over 300 Adult Video stars walked the red carpet for the 31st AVN Awards (Adult Video News) in Las Vegas. “Queen of Mean” comedian, Lisa Lampanelli, showed up to join the festivities. Afterwards, adult-entertainment stars dressed in barely-their outfits kept the party going and celebrated throughout the Las Vegas Strip.

Porn stars weren’t the only ones party-hopping this past weekend in Vegas. Electronic dance music heavy hitters, DJ Tiesto and Calvin Harris both came out to celebrate their birthdays in Vegas at Hakkasan nightclub with fans, colleagues, nightclub owners, and music executives. R&B artist, Ne-Yo, also started up his residency, performing at the Surrender Nightclub. Meanwhile, Grammy-nominated DJ Zedd partied with clubbers at Light.

The weekend also included shows from top entertainers throughout Las Vegas casinos. Resident performers at the Venetian, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, performed two nights over the weekend. Their residency ends in six weeks before they start their tour. Other music performances over the weekend included Boyz II Men at the Mirage, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts at the Eastside Cannery, and the Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Bella Donna, at the Cannery. In addition, comedian, Gabriel Iglesias, went on stage over the weekend at the Mirage. Illusionist, Rick Thomas, returned to Las Vegas after his international tour. His family-friendly magic act included wild beasts and breathtaking spectacles.
